Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Customer," "you," or "your") and Banco Galicia S.A. ("Banco Galicia," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of Galicia Banco Online and all related digital banking services provided by Banco Galicia. By accessing or using Galicia Banco Online, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Service Description and Scope

Galicia Banco Online is the official digital banking platform operated by Banco Galicia, providing authorized customers with secure electronic access to their Banco Galicia accounts. Through Galicia Banco Online, customers may perform various banking operations including but not limited to account balance inquiries, transaction history reviews, fund transfers between accounts, bill payments, investment management, and other financial services as made available by Banco Galicia from time to time.

Banco Galicia reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of Galicia Banco Online at any time without prior notice. We may add new features, remove existing functionalities, or change service parameters at our sole discretion. Banco Galicia shall not be liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of services.

2. Eligibility and Account Access

2.1 Account Holder Requirements

To access Galicia Banco Online, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age or have reached the age of majority in your jurisdiction
• Maintain an active account with Banco Galicia in good standing
• Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information
• Be a resident of Argentina or otherwise authorized to conduct banking transactions with Banco Galicia
• Have legal capacity to enter into binding contracts under applicable law

2.2 Registration and Authentication

Registration for Galicia Banco Online requires in-person identity verification at a Banco Galicia branch. You must present valid government-issued identification and complete all required authentication procedures. Upon successful registration, Banco Galicia will issue login credentials that grant access to Galicia Banco Online services associated with your accounts.

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, including usernames, passwords, security tokens, and authentication codes. You agree not to share your credentials with any third party and to immediately notify Banco Galicia if you suspect unauthorized access to your Galicia Banco Online account.

3. Authorized Use and Restrictions

3.1 Permitted Activities

You may use Galicia Banco Online solely for lawful purposes related to managing your Banco Galicia accounts. Permitted activities include conducting personal or business banking transactions, accessing account information, communicating with Banco Galicia regarding your accounts, and utilizing features explicitly made available through the platform.

3.2 Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Use Galicia Banco Online for any illegal purpose or in violation of Argentine banking regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to Banco Galicia systems, networks, or data
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of Galicia Banco Online or servers connected thereto
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access Galicia Banco Online without express written permission
• Impersonate another person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
• Transmit viruses, malware, or other malicious code through Galicia Banco Online
• Engage in any activity that could harm Banco Galicia's reputation or business operations
• Transfer or assign your Galicia Banco Online access rights to any third party

4. Transaction Authorization and Verification

All transactions initiated through Galicia Banco Online are considered authorized by you and legally binding. Banco Galicia may require additional verification for certain transactions based on transaction amount, recipient, frequency, or other risk factors determined by our security protocols.

You acknowledge that Banco Galicia processes transactions based on the information you provide through Galicia Banco Online. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of all transaction details including recipient account numbers, amounts, and payment references before confirming transactions. Banco Galicia is not liable for errors in transaction execution resulting from incorrect information provided by you.

Once a transaction has been processed by Banco Galicia, it may not be reversible. Transaction reversal requests are subject to Banco Galicia's discretion and applicable banking regulations. Fees may apply to transaction reversals or cancellations as specified in our fee schedule.

5. Security Obligations

5.1 Customer Security Responsibilities

You agree to take all reasonable precautions to protect your Galicia Banco Online access credentials and prevent unauthorized account access. Your security obligations include:

• Creating strong passwords and changing them regularly (at least every 90 days)
• Never sharing passwords, security tokens, or authentication codes with any person
• Logging out of Galicia Banco Online after each session
• Maintaining updated antivirus and security software on devices used to access Galicia Banco Online
• Avoiding access to Galicia Banco Online from public computers or unsecured networks
• Immediately reporting suspicious activity, unauthorized transactions, or security breaches to Banco Galicia

5.2 Unauthorized Access Notification

In the event of suspected or actual unauthorized access to your Galicia Banco Online account, you must notify Banco Galicia immediately by calling our security hotline at +54-11-4321-5678 (available 24/7). Prompt notification enables Banco Galicia to take immediate protective measures including account suspension and transaction reversal where possible.

You agree that failure to notify Banco Galicia promptly of unauthorized access may result in your liability for unauthorized transactions. Banco Galicia's liability for unauthorized transactions is limited as specified in Section 8 of these Terms and applicable Argentine consumer protection laws.

6. Fees and Charges

Certain transactions and services conducted through Galicia Banco Online may be subject to fees as specified in Banco Galicia's published fee schedule. Current fee information is available through Galicia Banco Online or at any Banco Galicia branch. We reserve the right to modify fees at any time with 30 days' advance notice to customers.

Fees are automatically debited from your designated Banco Galicia account. You are responsible for maintaining sufficient account balances to cover applicable fees. Insufficient funds may result in transaction failures, overdraft charges, or service limitations.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

All content, features, and functionality of Galicia Banco Online including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, software, and data compilations are the exclusive property of Banco Galicia or its licensors and are protected by Argentine and international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use Galicia Banco Online for personal banking purposes only. This license does not include any right to reproduce, modify, distribute, display, perform, or create derivative works from any content or materials available through Galicia Banco Online.

8. Limitation of Liability

Banco Galicia's total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of Galicia Banco Online shall not exceed the amount of fees you paid to Banco Galicia during the twelve months preceding the claim. This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory upon which the claim is based.

Banco Galicia is not liable for damages or losses resulting from:

• Internet service interruptions or telecommunications failures beyond Banco Galicia's control
• Your failure to maintain the confidentiality of login credentials
• Unauthorized access to your account resulting from your negligence
• Actions or omissions of third-party service providers
• Force majeure events including natural disasters, government actions, or public emergencies
• System maintenance, updates, or technical issues requiring temporary service suspension

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Banco Galicia, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms of Service
• Your use or misuse of Galicia Banco Online
• Your violation of any applicable laws or regulations
• Your infringement of any third-party rights
• Unauthorized access to your account resulting from your failure to maintain credential security

10. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of Galicia Banco Online is subject to Banco Galicia's Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal and financial information. By using Galicia Banco Online, you consent to the data practices described in our Privacy Policy.

Banco Galicia complies with Argentine data protection laws including the Personal Data Protection Act (Law 25,326) and regulations issued by the National Directorate for Personal Data Protection. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

11. Regulatory Compliance

Banco Galicia operates under the supervision and regulation of the Banco Central de la República Argentina (BCRA). Our banking services, including Galicia Banco Online, comply with Argentine banking laws, anti-money laundering regulations, and consumer protection statutes.

You agree to cooperate with Banco Galicia's compliance efforts including providing information required for regulatory reporting, customer due diligence, and transaction monitoring purposes. Banco Galicia may suspend or terminate your access to Galicia Banco Online if necessary to comply with legal obligations or regulatory directives.

12. Termination

Either party may terminate your access to Galicia Banco Online at any time. You may terminate by closing all your Banco Galicia accounts or by formally requesting discontinuation of digital banking services. Banco Galicia may terminate or suspend your access immediately without notice if:

• You breach any provision of these Terms
• Your Banco Galicia accounts are closed or suspended
• We detect fraudulent, suspicious, or illegal activity
• Required by law, regulation, or court order
• We decide to discontinue Galicia Banco Online services

Upon termination, you must immediately cease all use of Galicia Banco Online. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall remain in effect, including provisions relating to intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution.

13. Amendments to Terms

Banco Galicia reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes through Galicia Banco Online, email to your registered address, or by posting notices at Banco Galicia branches. Continued use of Galicia Banco Online following notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

If you do not agree to modified Terms, you must discontinue use of Galicia Banco Online. You are responsible for regularly reviewing these Terms to stay informed of any changes.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Argentine Republic, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Galicia Banco Online shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the City of Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Before initiating formal legal proceedings, parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith negotiations. If negotiations fail, disputes may be submitted to mediation before the appropriate Argentine consumer protection authority or other competent mediation service.
